- School level students currently studying Grade 8, 9 and 10.
During this phase, the organizing team onboarding, board of trustee on boarding, partnership and sponsorship raising, event execution planning, event branding and marketing, syllabus and question preparation, logistical planning and preparation, schools and participants onboarding is conducted. The entire organizing team of 38 people are prepared to go on floor for the execution of the first ever national IT Olympiad Nepal.
The Local Level Competition will be conducted by the representatives of all of the 80 schools that will be participating in the competition. The best two students, on a merit basis, will be selected from each school who will then be competing in a team at the provincial level.
A short 5 days gap between local level execution deadline and the provincial execution is provided so that the student participants can prepare for the provincial finale with a provided syllabus and guidelines for the provincial finale. During this gap, the organizing team will arrange the venue and logistics along with onboarding guests for the provincial finale in all of the seven provinces of Nepal.
The Provincial Level Competition will be conducted as per the syllabus that will be provided to the local level winners. Now the competition will be conducted among teams of two from each school.
After a successful completion of provincial finale in all of the seven provinces of Nepal, a gap of around 15 days will be provided where a new syllabus will also be circulated to the winning team of the provincial finale. During this time period, preparation will be done for the national grand finale regarding the venue, logistics, accommodation, chief guests and the announcement ceremony by the organizing team. Communication will be done with the colleges and guardians of winning team members regarding having them in the national finale at Kathmandu, Nepal.
For the National Grand Finale, along with MCQs, analytics questionnaires, video and graphical assessment will be done to select the winner on a merit basis.
The top 2 students will be selected from each province and brought to the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, for the national level competition.
An award ceremony will be conducted to award and honor the winners of the grand finale.
